The Journey Begins

In 2005, Asembia led the way in shaping the specialty pharmacy channel we know today. Blazing a trail for the industry by being the first organization to establish and promote specialty pharmacy as a distinct class of trade while concurrently developing the leading group purchasing organization (GPO) with focus on this segment.

Leading The Way

Adapting and expanding new services to meet the unique needs of the industry, in 2006 the Asembia Specialty Pharmacy Network (ASPN) was founded, enabling prescriptions transfer services for member pharmacies and providing scalable network solutions for manufacturer partners, prescribers, and other stakeholders.

Improving Outcomes

To meet the needs of our pharmacy industry partners, Asembia developed a customizable and scalable patient support service model that effortlessly streamlines the intake, benefit investigation, prior authorization and other patient access activities through our state-of-the-art patient support centers. Leveraging cutting-edge technology and our proprietary software, prescriptions are seamlessly cleared and routed to an appropriate dispensing pharmacy, resulting in timely fulfillment, delivery and an exceptional patient experience.

Driving Progress

Asembia’s technology solutions are the backbone their own day-to-day operations but are utilized by some of the largest mail & retail pharmacies in the nation as well as hospital IDNs, acute outpatient pharmacies, pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturers, prescribers, and patients. Asembia remains committed to the development, integration and deployment of key industry products that improve patient, prescriber and pharmacy experiences.

Building Our Future

Beginning as a handful of invited industry executives exchanging ideas, Asembia’s annual industry conference has become a premier pharmacy industry conference. As a pioneer and proponent in thought-leadership the Asembia Summit offers industry leaders expert seminars and business sessions, vendor exhibits, networking, private meetings and many other commercial opportunities. Asembia’s annual summit is a must-attend event for every pharmacy, managed care and healthcare technology stakeholder.
